Is anyone else going to be lumbered with their non-eve-playing other half?
We could pack them off together on tours whilst we get down to the serious issues.

no idea what's going on - but it's twice as expensive as last year from the UK.
ú350 = "yeah let's go it'll be fun"
ú700 = "err, uhm werent we meant to be going skiing and doing other holiday type stuff this year"

last year it was round different pubs & clubs, then at a conference centre somewhat out of town.

Yaaar, give em chance to sort it out - been the weekend after all.
Hanging out in the Hotel was fun, and the Nordica is EXCEPTIONALLY nice. Rooms are superb and oh man the breakfast is fantastic.

The issue I have is that they tried to rip us stupid. Really rip us like were all UK idiots. Does that not get your goat up? And im not talking about 15% slipped on the bill for a tip you would not of paid but 300 pound. Thats less than a days wages for me but i have serious principal issues. I DO appreciate Wranglers efforts, he did a great job on putting together "budget" trips but they will not be the same "in the same hotel bar" situations we had last year. This is a MAJOR part of it. This is when you really get to meet the people you have met online.
I would not tell anyone not to go. I would not discourage any UK person to go. I am saying that i will not give someone who blackmailed me an almost but still high price after they tried to blackmail me. Does that make sense? 
I'm figuring on there being a mistake - If the price is really that much, I don't really understand why. And yeah it gets my goat re: UK getting stuffed on the price of things AGAIN.
Well, you're going to nicer hotels than me dude - can I come work for you? I make excellent cups of Tea.
I have travelled a fair bit, 99% business tho, which equates to a Hilton most of the time. I bow down in the face of your no doubt encyclopedic hotel experience!
